Sophomore Tay Nance won the triple jump at the Bobcat Classic Saturday in San Marcos with a wind-aided mark of 12.09 meters (39'8"). The Cleveland, Texas, native is the school record holder in the event with a mark of 12.26 meters (40'2.75") at last year's Southland Conference Outdoor Championships.
