Shotton had a scoreless week, appearing in three games with one start. She struck out a season-high seven batters, while only allowing four hits, in an 8-0 six-inning win at Nicholls State on March 28. The seven strikeouts were the most since she whiffed nine against Nebraska Omaha on March 24, 2012. Shotton came in on relief twice and only allowed one hit and one walk in 3.1 innings while striking out three.
