Whitt finished second individually to lead the women's cross country team to its best finish of the season Friday afternoon at the HBU Invitational. Whitt clocked in at 18:02 over the three mile course, finishing just six seconds behind leader, Texas A&M's Heather Sterling. Overall, the Huskies finished second behind the Aggies.
