College Station, TX – In their final meet before the 2026 Southland Conference Championships, the HCU track and field squad competed at the 2026 Alumni Muster at Texas A&M College Station.
The field events saw another strong performance from
Layloni Watson, as she jumped her way to a second-place finish in the women's triple jump, at a mark of 12.36m/40-6.75.
On the track, Raphael Aureau finished fifth overall in the men's 1500m at a time of 3:50.51.
In the men's 400m hurdles, freshman
Rayhan Mourtada crossed the line at 51.27, good enough for a fifth-place finish and a new PR.
The Huskies are preparing to compete next at the 2026 Southland Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Nacogdoches, TX on May 14 – May 16.
