HOUSTON – Fresh off a convincing 80-45 win against LeTourneau on Wednesday, the HCU women's basketball team is preparing to host Abilene Christian on Friday, Nov. 6 at 6 pm in what looks to be a closely-contested matchup.
After two games, sophomore Dasia Hyams leads the Huskies, averaging 9 ppg and 4 rpg. After missing Wednesday's game, the Huskies will also look to fifth-year
Jordan Jackson to return to the court and have an impactful performance after she posted 7 points and 5 boards against Rice on Monday night.
The Abilene Christian Wildcats are coming off a 108-32 win at home versus Howard Payne that saw senior Payton Hull drop 20 points and senior Emma Troxell put up 16.
Tipoff for the matchup between the Huskies and the Wildcats will be at 6 pm from Sharp Gym and will be streamed on ESPN+.
