Ploy Makmanee, the 2025 Southland Conference Freshman of the Year, has been selected a first team academic all-conference selection in an announcement from the league office on Thursday morning.
Makmanee was an automatic first team selection after earning first team all-conference honors and being voted the league's Freshman of the Year. The freshman finished the season with the best national ranking of any SLC student-athlete, rising to 642 with a 74.93 scoring average. Makmanee posted a pair of top-five finishes in her first collegiate season, including tying for second at the SLC Championship. Her Freshman of the Year selection made her the program's first student-athlete to receive that award.
