WGOLF: Huskies Finish 13th at The "Mo" Morial

Makmanee Leads Team with 14th-Place Finish

BRYAN, Texas – The HCU women's golf team finished in 13th place at The "Mo" Morial at Traditions Club at Texas A&M with a total score of +104, posting rounds of +32, +44, and +28.
 
The team was led by Ploy Makmanee, who finished in 14th place with a total score of +15. She had consistent rounds of 79, 76, and 76. Her strongest stretch came in the second round, where she posted a one-under 35 on the front nine, highlighted by three birdies. In the final round, she made one birdie on hole 3, the par-4, and had five consecutive pars.
 
Lou Rousselot finished with a total score of +30 in 56th place, with rounds of 82, 80, and 84. Today, she carded one birdie on hole 13, the par-4, after tough holes on 9 and 10.
 
Hailey Hendershott finished in 62nd place with a total score of +32, posting rounds of 78, 93, and a strong 77 to close out the tournament. Today, she stayed consistent and marked two birdies in a row on holes 10 and 11, a par-5 and a par-3. She also strung together four pars in a row.
 
Alyssa Stewart finished in 66th place with a total score of +34, posting rounds of 86, 85, and 79. Joselyn Keller finished in 69th place with a total score of +41, with rounds of 81, 92, and 85.
 
The Huskies will next prepare for their final competition of the year, the Southland Conference Championship, scheduled for April 14 Monday to April 16 Wednesday in San Marcos, Texas.
