T&F: HCU Closes Out Texas Relays

The women’s DMR places fourth



AUSTIN, Texas – HCU track & field finished off its two-day stint at the 97th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Friday with athletes competing in a handful of events.
 
Senior Kennedy Doakes got the day started for the Huskies in the women's high jump. In her first outdoor meet for HCU she cleared 1.68m/5-6.0. The HCU women's distance medley relay team of Katherine Rogers, Anouk Verdaasdonk, Noelle Huijser and Eline Mast raced to a time of 11:48.30 to come in fourth. Raphael Aureau, Jacob Smith, Krzysztof Turski and Edouard Lecrivain made up the men's DMR team that posted a time of 9:58.75.
 
The Huskies will be back in action on Saturday, Mar. 29, across town at the Rice Victor Lopez Classic.
