HCU baseball looks to build momentum in Tuesday night matchup against the Roadrunners

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – HCU baseball is set to take on UTSA this Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 6:00 p.m. in San Antonio for a mid-week non-conference matchup at Roadrunner Field.

The Huskies are coming off a competitive series against ULM, splitting two games. HCU fell 4-1 in Friday's matchup before bouncing back with a 6-3 victory on Saturday. Sunday's contest was rained out.

HCU has opened the season with a 4-2 record with Katcher Halligan leading the offensive charge in the team's four-game series with Central Michigan, scoring seven runs. Robert Oropeza, meanwhile led the team with six RBI in the series. Jack Walker currently leads the team with a .400 batting average through six games.

On the mound, Parker Edwards dominated with a seven-strikeout outing against ULM while Joshua Caravalho owns a 0.82 ERA with two wins in two starts..

Following the matchup against UTSA, the Huskies will remain in San Antonio for a three-game Southland Conference series against UIW, beginning Friday, February 28, at 2:05 p.m.
