HOUSTON - With the 2025 NCAA baseball season just days away, HCU baseball is set to host its first-ever night game at Husky Field this Friday against Central Michigan thanks to recently installed lights.
The lights were installed and powered up in late January, setting the stage for Friday's 6:30 p.m. first pitch in the first game of a four-game set between the Huskies and Chippewas. Additionally, Husky Field has a brand new outfield fence while a new scoreboard is waiting to be installed once City of Houston permitting allows.
HCU and CMU are scheduled to play Friday, Feb. 14, at 6:30 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 15, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with the series finale set for Sunday, Feb. 16, at 12:30 p.m.
