Lyndie Swanson and Katy Janes each have four wins to lead the hurlers.Swanson's outing in the Lamar series was the 100th of her career, making her just the fourth hurler in school history to hit that plateau. She is now at 101 for her career, just four from third and five from second all-time.

Only twice have the two schools previously met on the diamond. The Bears took the most recent encounter, a 10-3 decision in Waco in 2015. The lone meeting previous to that game was 21 years prior, as BU defeated HCU 6-0 in Waco in 1996. Baylor was ranked No. 13 last week and is now 16-8 with the most recent poll being released late Monday afternoon.

Baylor has a trio of players batting over .300 with 20 or more hits on the season thus far.
