HOUSTON – HCU senior linebacker
Jalyx Hunt has been named to the 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl Watchlist ahead of the start to the 2023 football season.
The Reese's Senior Bowl is among the most respected college all-star games and over the last three years has seen at least 100 players drafted each season.
Hunt, one of just two Southland Conference players included on the list along with Southeastern's Tyrik Mitchell, was a second team all-SLC selection last season. He led the league in tackles for loss, with 11.5, and forced three fumbles. Additionally, Hunt tied for second in the league with seven sacks and was ninth with 87 tackles.
Hunt and the Huskies begin the 2023 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 2, vs. Arkansas Baptist at Husky Stadium with a 6:00 p.m. kickoff.
