FRISCO, Texas – HCU football placed five student-athletes on the 2025 Southland Conference academic all-conference team announced on Friday.
Senior defensive end
Ravonte Blowe was selected after a year in which he totaled 40 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, three quarterback hurries and one pass breakup. A defensive tackle, Davis finished his senior season with 28 tackles, three TFLs and one sack.
Senior safety
Xavier Toliver closed out his final year with 25 tackles and one breakup in 11 games.
Jake Weir, a senior quarterback, completed 98 passes for 903 yards with two touchdowns while junior linebacker
Trent Zappe finished second on the team with 81 tackles, three TFLs, three QB hurries and one breakup.
