Jessica Rabius has been named the 2023 Southland Conference Outdoor Track & Field Outstanding Running Events Performer, the league announced on Friday morning.
Rabius took home a pair of golds at the 2023 SLC Outdoor Championships, first the senior won the 1500 meters with a time of 4:34.95. She then topped the podium in the 5000 meters thanks to a PR time of 17:35.27. She ran the fastest time in the conference in the 1500m this season, 4:18.69, and the second-fastest time in the 800m, 2:04.64.
As a team, the Huskies earned all-conference honors in nine events.
