HOUSTON, Tx – The Huskies travel to the University of Houston for a non-conference midweek against the Cougars at Don Sanders Stadium at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park at 6:30 p.m.

HCU (8-23, 5-4 SLC) are led by junior infielder Reed Chumley who is batting .348 avg. with 23 runs, 18 RBIs, 10 doubles, and five home runs on the year. Junior outfielder Samuel Benjamin who is batting .345 avg with 29 RBIs, 22 runs, 10 doubles, and six home runs on the season. Senior infielder Austin Roccaforte is hitting .297 avg. with 22 runs, 14 RBIs, three doubles, a home run, and a team high 19 walks. Freshman catcher Dylan LaRue is on a nine-game hitting streak with six multiple-hit games and coming off a great series against Northwestern State recording nine RBIs, four runs, two doubles, and two home runs.

The Cougars (20-16, 6-3 AAC) are led by Malachi Lott who is hitting .365 avg. with 22 runs, 20 RBIs, 11 doubles, and three home runs. Zach Arnold is batting .331 avg. with 30 runs, 29 RBIs, five doubles, and a team high eight home runs. Justin Murray is coming off a good series against USF where he went 6-for-14 with four RBIs, three runs, and a double.
