SAN MARCOS, Texas –
Yassin Salem led four Huskies competing at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational on Saturday, setting a new outdoor PR in the men's triple jump.
Salem leapt 14.44m/47-4.50 on his fifth attempt for his longest jump of the outdoor season and a seventh-place finish.
Reem Tammam placed 15th in the women's triple jump with a mark of 12.19m/40-0.
In the women's high jump,
Rebecca Pecora cleared 1.66m/5-5.25 on her first attempt for her highest clearance to tie for eighth.
Noa Grochowski also posted a top height of 1.66m/5.25 on her second attempt for a 16th-place finish.
HCU will be hitting the track on Good Friday, Apr. 7, at the Cameron Burrell Alumni Invitational at the University of Houston Carl Lewis International Complex.
