FRISCO, Texas – HCU senior
Elise Parel won two individual titles in the month of March and has been selected the Southland Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for the second-consecutive month.
Parel led the Huskies to the team title at the UTRGV Invitational while earning the individual title in a two-hole playoff. The senior shot a four-under par 210 (69-68-73) en route to the win. She then followed that up with an even par 216 (74-70-72) to win the HCU Husky Invitational by two strokes. Over her six rounds in the month of March, Parel carried a scoring average of 71.
An HCU golfer has won three of the four conference Golfer of the Month awards so far during the 2022-23 season. Parel won last month and
Lou Rousselot took the award for September.
