AUSTIN, Texas – Junior
Alex Piquart set a new PR as one of five HCU track & field athletes competing at the 95
th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Thursday.
Freshman
Brianna Hinds was first up for HCU, running a 1:03.51 in the women's 400-meter hurdles to finish third in her heat and place 39
th out of 76 hurdlers.
Garrett Gibson then ran a time of 53.13 in the men's 400h prelims while
Denzel Hinds ran 53.77 in the timed 400h race, placing second in his heat.
In the women's 1500 meter A race, senior
Jessica Rabius came in fifth with a time of 4:26.87. In the men's 1500m B race,
Alex Piquart also posted a fifth-place finish in a time of 3:50.02 for a new PR.
More Huskies will be in action in Austin on Friday, Mar. 31, with others competing south on I-35 at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational.
