HCU is 12-33 all-time against McNeese and went 2-4 during the 2022 conference season, winning the first two matchups. The Huskies are 4-12 at Husky Field since 2008 against McNeese with their last win coming in game one of the 2019 conference series.

Cooper Hext is batting .294 with 30 runs, 21 RBIs, five home runs, four triples, and six doubles while Brad Burckel's batting average is .289 with 19 runs, 16 RBIs, five doubles, and four home runs.
