FRISCO, Texas – HCU junior kicker
Dillon Fedor was named the Southland Conference Special Teams Player of the week after accounting for 12 points in the Huskies' 30-0 win over Prairie View A&M on Saturday.
Fedor got the scoring started on Saturday with a 19-yard field goal and then extended the HCU lead in the second half with field goals of 21 and 26 yards. He also connected on all three PATs attempted in the win. Fedor leads the SLC in made field goals, with eight, and field goal percentage, at 88.9 percent (8-of-9). He's also second in the league in scoring, averaging 6.4 points per game.
Fedor and the Huskies have a bye this coming weekend but return to SLC action on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Husky Stadium vs. Texas A&M-Commerce.
