HOUSTON – HCU has selected
Aaron Winchester as running backs coach and camps coordinator, Head Football Coach
Braxton Harris announced on Thursday morning.
Winchester joins the Huskies' staff after one season as the offensive graduate assistant at the University of South Florida. Prior to USF, he was the tight ends coach and video coordinator at Central Connecticut State and began his career as an assistant football and basketball coach at Mount Pisgah Christian School.
A native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and a standout at Mount Pisgah, Winchester went on to play quarterback at Georgia State, before finishing his career at CCSU. He earned a bachelor of arts in interdisciplinary studies from Georgia State, then a Master of Science in technology management from CCSU.
