Andrew Reitmeyer was named to the second team, while junior centerfielder

Jake Miller were selected to the third team as the Southland All-Conference Baseball Teams, as voted on by the head coaches and sports information directors, were announced by the league office Tuesday.
Reitmeyer tied for the team lead with 24 appearances, going 3-3 with a 3.32 ERA, eight saves, 27 strikeouts and 15 walks in 21.2 innings. The Carlsbad, California, native ranked third in the league in saves is tied for the second-most in a single season in HBU history. Reitmeyer has 13 saves for his career, which ranks fourth in the Huskies' all-time record book. During conference play, he went 2-1 with a 2.31 ERA, four saves, struck out 16 and walked nine in 11.2 innings.
Roccaforte hit .280 with six doubles, three triples, 23 RBIs, 33 runs, led the conference with 40 walks and led the team with 13 stolen bases on 15 attempts. The Tomball, Texas, native started all 24 conference games and hit .253 with two doubles, a triple, 12 RBIs, 17 runs, 20 walks and 9-for-9 on stolen base attempts in league play. He tied for second on the team with 11 multi-hit games and fourth with five multi-RBI performances.
Miller hit .274 with eight doubles, four home runs, 23 RBIS and 23 runs, while making 18 starts at second base, 11 at first base, 10 in leftfield, four at third base, three at shortstop and two in rightfield. The Round Rock, Texas, native hit .293 with seven doubles, two home runs, 17 RBIs and 10 runs in conference play. He tied for second on the team with 11 multi-hit games and tied for second with six multi-RBI efforts. Miller was third on the team with 181 defensive chances and only made two errors.
McNeese took home four awards as Justin Hill was named the Clay Gould Coach of the Year, Payton Harden was the Player of the Year, Grant Rogers was the Pitcher of the Year and Cameron Foster was the Relief Pitcher of the Year. New Orleans' Pearce Howard was the Hitter of the Year, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's Zach Garcia was the Freshman of the Year and New Orlean's Amani Larry was the Newcomer of the Year. HBU will face New Orleans in the first round of the Southland Conference Tournament Thursday at 1 p.m. at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Almuni Field in Hammond, Louisiana. The winner of the Hammond bracket will meet the winner of the Lake Charles bracket in a best two-out-of-three series May 26-28 at the highest remaining seed.
