PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas - HBU will face Prairie View A&M in the first-ever meeting between the two program Saturday at 6 p.m. at Blackshear Field.
 
The Huskies (0-2) are guided by sophomore quarterback Blaise Bentsen, who has completed 47-of-85 passes for 400 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions. Freshman Charles King has made 12 catches for 142 yards and two touchdowns, while junior Branden Walker has 11 catches for 101 yards.
 
Senior linebacker Brennan Young leads the Southland Conference and is tied for 14th nationally with 10.5 tackles per game. Junior defensive lineman Kyler Baugh has 15 tackles and leads HBU with 1.5 sacks. Sophomore safety Isaiah Cash and senior safety Coi Miller have made 14 stops each.
 
Senior punter Brady Buell leads the league and ranks 10th in the nation with a 44.38-yard average. Junior kicker Gino Garcia has made all three of his field goal attempts.
 
Jawon Pass has completed 43-of-73 passes for 542 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions for the Panthers (1-1). Antonio Mullins has made 14 catches for 152 yards and a touchdown, while Jailon Howard has six catches for 151 yards and two touchdowns. Lyndemian Brooks has 21 carries for 91 yards and a touchdown.
 
Tre'Shaud SMith has 17 tackles, while Drake Cheatum has 13 stops and Warren Shankle and Bryce Turner have 12 each. Rashaud Powell leads PVAMU with two sacks.
 
The Huskies will be off next week, before beginning eight-straight weeks of conference play, beginning with Nicholls Saturday, Oct. 2 in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
