SAN ANTONIO – HBU hits the road to take on UIW in a four-game Southland Conference baseball series Friday through Sunday at Daniel Sullivan Field.
 
Sophomore first baseman Brennen Bales is hitting .339 with six doubles, two triples, a home run, 16 RBIs and 15 runs, while junior second baseman Jake Miller is hitting .285 with six doubles, a home run, 13 RBIs and 22 runs. Freshman shortstop Sebastian Trinidad has five doubles, a triple, a team-leading 21 RBIs and nine runs, and senior rightfielder Brandon Bena has five doubles, three home runs, 17 RBIs and 15 runs.
 
The Huskies will likely start senior righthander Jacob Coats, sophomore righthander Jared Burch and sophomore righthander Daxton Tinker, with Sunday's starter to be determined.
 
Lee Thomas is hitting .322 with 10 doubles, four triples, six home runs, 33 RBIs and 29 runs, while Grant Smith is hitting .291 with five doubles, a triple, seven home runs, 31 RBIs and 31 runs. Ryan Flores is batting .291 with eight doubles, three home runs, 27 RBIs and 23 runs and Ridge Rogers has six doubles, three triples, two home runs, 16 RBIs and 25 runs. Jordan McFarland has eight doubles, five home runs and 21 RBIs and Wilson Ehrhardt has six doubles, six homers, 21 RBIs and 28 runs.
 
The Cardinals are expected to start Kayden Cassidy, Drew Minter and Isaiah Zavala, with Sunday's starter to be determined.
 
The series starts with a doubleheader at 1 p.m., followed by a 6:30 p.m. start Saturday and a 1 p.m. first pitch Sunday.
