HBU Huskies (3-16, 1-7 SLC) at Nicholls Colonels (9-10, 6-2 SLC)

THIBODAUX, La. - After its first homestand of the season, HBU hits the road again to face Nicholls in a four-game Southland Conference series Friday through Sunday at Ray E. Didier Field.
 
 Junior infielder Jake Miller is hitting .328 with four doubles, four RBIs and 10 runs, while sophomore first baseman Brennen Bales is hitting .273 with two doubles, five RBIs and five runs. Junior catcher Todd Jackson is batting .375 with a n RBI and three runs, while senior rightfielder Brandon Bena and senior third baseman Nathan Soriano have each driven in a team-high eight runs for the Huskies (3-16, 1-7 SLC).
 
The Huskies are expected to start junior lefthander Austin Spinney on Friday and senior righthander Jacob Coats, with the other two spots to be determined.
 
Greg Anderburg is hitting .281 with a home run, two doubles, a triple, 11 RBIs and eight runs and Wes Toups is hitting .275 with a home run, four doubles, 10 RBI and 14 runs for Nicholls (9-10, 6-2). Basiel Williams is hitting .250 with three home runs, three doubles, a triple, 15 RBIs and 12 runs for the Colonels.
 
Nicholls will likely start righthanders Chase Gearing, Trever Kilcrease, Devin Desandro and Nick Heckman.
 
The Huskies return home next week to take on Lamar Thursday through Saturday at Husky Field.
