HBU held the Cardinals and went on to win 72-59 after a scoring heavy quarter by both teams.

The Huskies (6-17, 2-12 SLC) snapped their four-game skid as sophomore Julija Vujakovic led the team after scoring a career high 21 points while recording three steals and four rebounds. The Cardinals (9-15, 5-10 SLC) shot 36.1 percent from the field which was ultimately not enough to stop the Huskies from recording 25 defensive rebounds. Angel Hastings led the game in scoring with 26 points on the afternoon while gathering four rebounds and stealing the ball three times. Briana Laidler recorded a double-double scoring 13 points and recorded a game leading 10 rebounds while blocking one shot.
