Lauren Huggins won both of their matches, but the HBU volleyball team dropped a pair of 4-1 decisions to 18th-ranked Georgia State and UAB Sunday at the March to May.
Miller and Huggins defeated Georgia State's Mattie Johnson and Kelly Dorn, 21-19, 21-17 at the four position. Senior

Tori Hinojosa were edged at the one spot by Eden Hawes and Georgia Johnson, 22-20, 21-19, while freshmen
Natalie Bennett and
Maddie Butters were defeated at two, 21-15, 21-14. Freshmen

Lindsay Harris were downed at three by Brooke Weiner and Kate Novack, 27-25, 21-11, and sophomore
Meagan Carter and junior
Danielle Wheeler dropped the five match to Becky Tresham and Maddie Gordon, 21-17, 21-11.
Miller and Huggins also played at four against UAB, outlasting Emily Martinez and Britney Munro, 20-22, 21-18, 15-10. Kenley Adams and Salli Napolitano slipped by Hinojosa and Banks at one, 21-19, 22-20, while Bennett and Butters dropped a 21-15, 21-14 decision to Jaclyn Keene and Tressa Buckland at two. In the three spot, Bryan and Harris fell to Jayme Bratsberg and Annie Pringle, 21-14, 21-12, and Carter and Wheeler lost a tough, 19-21, 22-20, 15-10 decision to Emma Andraka and Jenna Gathright.
The Huskies return to action against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and UNC Wilmington Friday in Corpus Christi.
