FRISCO, Texas – HCU Beach placed five student-athletes on the 2026 Southland Conference All-Academic team announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
Claudia Verdejo Lozano,
Grace Melnick,
Paige Palmer,
Lauren Vickery and
Olivia Zeigler represent the Huskies on the 2026 team. Lozano, a sophomore, owns a cumulative GPA of 3.66 and finished the year with nine wins. Melnick, a senior, totaled 10 wins on the season and boasts a GPA of 3.88. Palmer added 11 wins for the Huskies with the senior owning a 3.92 GPA. Vickery closed out her junior year by tying for second on the team with 12 wins with a 3.84 GPA. Lastly, Zeigler ended her senior year with a perfect 4.0 GPA and 12 victories.
