Biography
2019: Hinojosa played every match at the No. 1 position and went 18-11. She and Aeriel Horton were 17-6 when paired together.
2018: Played every match at the No. 2 position with Kayla Armer. The pair went 21-8 and were one of two HBU pairs to qualify for the USA Beach Volleyball Championships for the first time in program history.
2017: Played every match at the No. 2 position with Kayla Armer and the pair compiled a 19-7 record.
High School:Â Was a three-year letterwinner and starter at Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio, Texas, under head coach Mike Carter. She was named first team all-district and to the all-area squad as both a junior and senior. As a junior, she picked up honorable mention for Setter of the Year, recording the most assists in both the district and region with 1,401. Hinojosa is a three-time academic all-district selection and was named academic all-state as a junior. Hinojosa played club for 210 Beach under the direction of Jason Kaiser, qualifying for both the USA Volleyball Nationals and AAU Nationals, and earning Best of the Beach honors. She has helped 210 Beach to first- and third-place finishes in tournament play and a fifth-place finish at the USA High Performance Championship. The daughter of Gilbert and Amy Hinojosa, she has two sisters, Rachel and Ellie.
