CONWAY, Ark. – HBU makes its lone trip to the Natural State on Wednesday when the Husky men's basketball team takes on Central Arkansas in the only meeting between the two teams this season. Husky fans can listen to every second of the action via the Husky Sports Network broadcast with Lonnie King providing play-by-play commentary, available at HBUHuskies.com.

HBU (7-14, 3-7 SLC) continues to be one of the top rebounding teams in the Southland Conference, holding a plus-6.3 rebounds per game margin in league play. As a team, the Huskies are fourth in the nation with an average of 14.14 offensive rebounds per game. Individually, Philip McKenzie is 56th nationally with 2.9 offensive boards per game and for his career, the sophomore has pulled down 111 boards on the offensive end to 87 on the defensive glass.

The Huskies' Ian DuBose continues to be among the top-scoring sophomores in the nation, averaging 17.9 points per game to rank 11th among second-year players. DuBose is second in the SLC in scoring for the season and ranks in the top-10 in the conference in rebounding, assists, assist-to-turnover ratio, field goal percentage and is just outside the top-10 in steals.

Central Arkansas (10-14, 5-6 SLC) is looking to snap a four-game losing streak, including its last two at home. During that stretch, the Bears have been out-scored by 10.5 ppg. In their last game, a home 75-67 loss to Southeastern Louisiana, four UCA starters scored in double-figures with sophomore center Hayden Koval leading the way with 14. The Bears were out-rebounded by a 41-24 margin in the loss.

Senior Thatch Unruh has been the Bears' leading scorer in SLC play, averaging 14.4 ppg, while sophomores DeAndre Jones and Koval are adding 13.8 ppg and 13.2 ppg, respectively. Koval leads UCA with 5.5 rpg and is also averaging 2.5 blocked shots per outing against league opponents. Jones and Unruh are both shooting well from distance in conference play with Jones connecting on 40.4 percent (21-of-52) and the later shooting 36.5 percent (23-of-63) from three-point range.

The Huskies are 3-3 against the Bears since joining the Southland beginning with the 2013-14 season. The teams have met once per season the last three years with the road team picking up the win in all three of those matchups.

HBU returns to Sharp Gym for its next two games, beginning on Saturday, Feb. 16 against Nicholls with a 7:00 p.m. tip-off. The Huskies will be wearing their mid-1970's throwback uniforms featuring blue and orange striped shorts and the program's iconic "Hustlin' Husky" logo in the matchup with the Colonels.
