High School: A four-year starter and two-year captain at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, N.C. for Coach Kevin Billerman…as a senior, earned First Team All-Conference, the TISAC Sportsmanship Award and was named team Most Valuable Player…as a junior, named First Team All-Conference and helped lead the team to a No. 7 ranking in North Carolina…as a sophomore, named First Team All-Conference…as a freshman, named Honorable Mention All-Conference…graduated with a 4.0 GPA, was a member of both the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society…earned the Most Outstanding Student Award three times and as also received the President’s Award for Volunteer Service…also competed in track & field, earning All-Conference honors in the high jump…played club basketball for the Wake County Basketball Association and coach Christopher Davis.
