2018-19 (Sophomore): DuBose was named Second Team All-Southland Conference and Second Team Academic All-Southland Conference as a sophomore…started all 30 games and averaged a team-high 30.4 minutes per game…averaged 17 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game…led the team in scoring and rebounding and was second in assists (103) and steals (47) while tying for second in blocks…connected on 43.8 percent (53-of-121) from three-point range to lead the SLC…shot 48.6 percent (173-of-356) from the floor…in SLC play, ranked in the top-10 in the following six categories, ranking sixth in scoring (16.9 ppg), fourth in three-point field goal percentage (45 percent), sixth in steals (1.6 spg), eighth in field goal percentage (48.6 percent), 10^th in rebounding (6.3 rpg) and 10^th in assists (3.4 apg) while only one other player in the league ranked in the top-10 in four of those categories…failed to reach double-digits in scoring just six times…led the team in scoring 15 times and was the team’s top rebounder 10 times…twice eclipsed 30 points, first at Texas State (12/08) when he dropped 31 before setting a new career-high with 33 points in an overtime win over Lamar (01/02)…pulled down a career-best 13 rebounds at Samford (12/17)…finished the season with five double-doubles, posting 15 points and 10 rebounds against UTSA (11/26), 16 points and 13 rebounds at Samford (12/17), 33 points and 10 rebounds against Lamar (01/02), 18 points and 11 rebounds at Abilene Christian (01/16) and 15 points and 11 rebounds versus Sam Houston State (01/19)…dished out a career-high nine assists against Incarnate Word (03/06)…made a career-high five three-pointers in a game twice, versus Southeastern Louisiana (01/23) and at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (03/09)…named to the NABC Honors Court.

2017-18 (Freshman): DuBose started all 31 games as a freshman, averaging 28.6 minutes per game…averaged 12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, two assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 40.6 percent (129-of-318) from the floor and 35 percent (35-of-100) from three-point range…finished third on the team in both scoring and rebounding and was second in both steals (44) and assists (61)…ranked in the top-25 in the Southland Conference in scoring and the top-20 in rebounding…led the Huskies in scoring on nine occasions and was the team’s top rebounder seven times…recorded a pair of double-doubles, finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds against Detroit Mercy (11/19) and then 19 points and 10 rebounds against Nicholls (01/06)…scored a season-high 23 points at Stephen F. Austin (01/31) while enjoying a perfect 13-of-13 night at the free throw line…scored 20 points at Vanderbilt (12/20) and against Central Arkansas (02/07)…scored in double-digits 21 times…improved his averages in SLC play, averaging 12.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while playing 29.6 minutes per game…dished out a season-best six assists twice, at Incarnate Word (02/28) and against Detroit Mercy (11/19)…recorded a career-high five steals against Central Arkansas (02/07) and blocked a career-high four shots at Lamar (12/28).

High School: A four-year starter and two-year captain at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, N.C. for Coach Kevin Billerman…as a senior, earned First Team All-Conference, the TISAC Sportsmanship Award and was named team Most Valuable Player…as a junior, named First Team All-Conference and helped lead the team to a No. 7 ranking in North Carolina…as a sophomore, named First Team All-Conference…as a freshman, named Honorable Mention All-Conference…graduated with a 4.0 GPA, was a member of both the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society…earned the Most Outstanding Student Award three times and as also received the President’s Award for Volunteer Service…also competed in track & field, earning All-Conference honors in the high jump…played club basketball for the Wake County Basketball Association and coach Christopher Davis.
 
Personal: Full name is Ian Rogers DuBose…born Jan. 16, 1999 in Durham, N.C.…son of Clinton and Lana DuBose…cousin Brandon Evans played basketball at Rice, cousin Braxton Evans played football at Rice, cousin George Duffie Rooks played football at Syracuse and spent one season playing in the NFL with the New York Giants, cousin Jeffrey DuBose played football at Gustavus Adolphus, cousin Taylor Rooks plays basketball at Harvard…plays the string bass…majoring in kinesiology.
