COVINGTON, Louisiana – HBU got the day started with a 4-1 win over UAB, then swept Jacksonville State, 5-0, on the first day of the New Orleans Invitational Friday at Dig Volleyball Complex.

Mikayla Vivens dropped the exhibition match to Alex Kells and Kaylee McClure, 21-16, 22-20.
