BOCA RATON, Florida – HBU started off the day by blanking Webber International, 5-0, before falling to Georgia State, 3-2, at the Burrow Beach Bash Saturday at the FAU Beach Volleyball Courts.

In the afternoon matches against Georgia State, Wooten and Horton suffered only their second loss of the season, as Teegan Van Gunst and Tiffany Creamer outlasted them, 21-17, 14-21, 15-12. Armer and Hinojosa went to 9-1 on the year by besting Annika Van Gunst and Brooke Weiner at number two, 21-13, 21-17. Bank and Silveira fell at the three spot, 21-16, 21-17, while Wheeler and Vivens dropped the number four match, 21-14, 21-17. Fluke and

Meagan Carter fell in the exhibition match to Ashley Bauchert and Maddie Gordon, 21-8, 21-11.

Cameron Sitler said. "We competed against some talented opponents. As a program, we have faced these programs over the years and struggled, but it's great to see our team and players continue to grow and battle tough competition this weekend."
