HOUSTON – HBU men's basketball returns to Sharp Gym for the final non-conference game of the season this Saturday afternoon for a 1:00 p.m. tip-off against Dallas Christian. Fans who can't make it to the game can watch the Husky Sports Network broadcast with Lonnie King, available at HBUHuskies.com.

HBU (3-7) is 7-0 all-time against Dallas Christian (2-8) with the last meeting a 96-66 Husky win during the 2017-18 season on Nov. 28, 2017. The Huskies shot 60 percent from the floor in that game while Braxton Bonds finished with 15 points and six steals.

In the Huskies' last game, an 80-73 loss at Miami on Dec. 19, sophomore Oliver Lynch-Daniels led all players with a season-high 19 points as he knocked down 5-of-7 from three-point range. Senior Edward Hardt finished with 14 points and seven rebounds while Philip McKenzie scored a career-best 15 points.

HBU is currently second in the Southland Conference in the NCAA NET rankings behind only Abilene Christian. Both ESPN and CBSSports.com rank the Huskies' strength of schedule to this point in the season in the top-20 nationally while all nine of the NCAA Division I opponents HBU has faced this year own a combined record of 76-33.

Bonds is currently second in the Southland and 57th nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.75. The senior has moved into the program's top-10 in steals with 130 for his career while his 294 assists are the 11th-most, less than 30 away from the top-10.

The Crusaders come into Saturday's game having won their last contest, a 95-75 home win over Ozark Christian College. Five different players scored in double-figures in that win with Hunter Bennett and Davonte Brownlee each finishing with 16. Bennett is the team's leading scorer with 16.2 points per game while Chance Houston is averaging 15.6.

SLC play opens up with the new year with the Huskies' first conference game coming at home against Lamar on Wednesday, Jan. 2, with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m.
