WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Having already faced opponents from the Pac-12 and the Big 10, HBU men's basketball turns to the ACC for its next matchup, a Black Friday affair at Wake Forest on Friday afternoon at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum at 1:00 p.m. central. Husky fans can tune in to the action on the ACC Network Extra, available through WatchESPN, with Evan Lepler providing play-by-play and Stan Lewter providing color commentary. Additionally, fans can listen via the DNA Husky Sports Network broadcast with Lonnie King available at HBUHuskies.com.

With Friday's game being played on Black Friday, Wake Forest (3-1) will be wearing black which means the Huskies (1-2) will be wearing white on the road. Friday's game is a homecoming for a number of HBU players with four current Huskies (Ian DuBose, Oliver Lynch-Daniels, Qon Murphy, Benjamin Uloko) hailing from the Tar Heel State and a fifth (Philip McKenzie) attending high school in North Carolina.

Sophomore Ian DuBose leads the Huskies in scoring with 15 points per game while also owning a team-best six steals. In the Huskies loss at Wisconsin in their most recent game, DuBose led all players with 18 points. On the season, the sophomore is shooting 60 percent (6-of-10) from three-point range. Junior Jalon Gates is second on the squad with 10 ppg. As a team, the Huskies have won the turnover battles in two of three games and in their last game forced the Badgers into a then season-high 10 turnovers.

The Demon Deacons are coming off a 2-1 showing at the Myrtle Beach Invitational, earning wins over Cal State Fullerton and Valparaiso after losing their opening game to Saint Joseph's. Wake Forest is led by 6-8 freshman Jaylen Hoard who is averaging 15.5 ppg and 8.5 rebounds per game. Brandon Childress, a junior, is second on the team in scoring with 14.5 ppg and leads the way with five assists per outing. As a team, the Demon Deacons are out-rebounding opponents by more than six boards per game.

Friday will mark the first ever meeting between the two teams and makes this two-straight seasons for HBU playing teams from the ACC. The Huskies faced Virginia Tech last season and will also visit Miami in December.

The Huskies return home for their next matchup this coming Monday, Nov. 26, when they host UTSA in Sharp Gym for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
