Spencer Halloran, who is hitting .356 with 11 doubles, four triples, three home runs, 25 RBIs and 36 runs. Senior centerfielder
Zane Otten is hitting .346 with five doubles, three triples, 14 RBIs, 27 runs and has stolen 16 bases. Junior shortstop
Tyler Depreta-Johnson has hit safely in 18 of his last 19 to raise his average to .328 with four doubles, one triple, one home run, 18 RBIs and 23 runs, while senior rightfielder
Brandon Brintz is hitting .310 with nine doubles, a home run, 21 RBIs and 29 runs. Junior first baseman

Ivan Smith (0-1, 8.68 ERA) is expected to make his first start of the season, but the fourth of his career. In his last appearance Friday against Northwestern State, Smith allowed only an unearned run, no hits, struck out two and walked two.

Braden Shewmake paces the Aggies (32-13) with a .361 batting average, 14 doubles, two triples, six home runs, 52 RBIs and 11 stolen bases, while Logan Foster is hitting .311 with 13 doubles, four triples, four home runs, 21 RBIs and 30 runs. Cole Bedford is also hitting .311 with 10 doubles, a triple, two home runs, 18 RBIs and 13 runs. George Janca is hitting .270 with six doubles, four triples, five home runs and 27 RBIs, while Joel Davis is also tied for second on the team with 27 driven in.

Junior righthander Turner Larkins (0-1, 3.31 ERA) is slated to make his fourth start of the season for Texas A&M.

Texas A&M leads the all-time series against HBU, 6-0, and won last year's meeting, 3-2 in 13 innings, on March 1 in College Station.

The Huskies' final nine games are all in Southland Conference play, beginning with a three-game road series at New Orleans Friday through Sunday. HBU will then host Sam Houston State in the final home series, before wrapping up the regular season at Stephen F. Austin. The Southland Conference Baseball Tournament will be held May 24-27 at Constellation Field in Sugar Land.
