SAN ANTONIO – UTSA scored seven runs in the fifth inning to put away a 10-2 victory over HBU and snap the Huskies' six-game winning streak in non-conference baseball Tuesday night at Roadrunner Field.

Jake Pulcheon went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Huskies (20-16), while junior first baseman
Carey Jones doubled. Senior designated hitter
Joe Van Marter drove in a run and junior shortstop
Tyler Depreta-Johnson scored, but saw his hitting streak halted at 15 games.
Junior righthander
Tanner Luna (0-1) took the loss in his first career start, allowing three runs on four hits in 2.2 innings, while senior lefty
Ivan Smith gave up four runs on two hits in 1.2 and junior
Cody Marshall allowed three runs without recording an out.
Ben Brookover went 3-for-5 with two RBIs for the Roadrunner (21-18), while Kevin Markham went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and scored twice. Mason George and Skyler Valentine each went 1-for-2 and scored twice.
Steven Dressler (3-3) earned the victory, allowing one run on three hits with two strikeouts in five innings.
The Huskies return to action when they host Northwestern State in a three-game Southland Conference series Friday through Sunday at Husky Field.
