Junior outfielder
Spencer Halloran is leading the Huskies (8-6) with a .393 batting average, four triples, three doubles, a home run, 13 RBIs and 15 runs, while senior outfielder
Zane Otten is hitting .478 with three doubles, a triple, five RBIs and 11 runs in the last five games since returning from an injury. Junior first baseman/catcher
Jake Pulcheon is hitting .333 with three doubles, nine RBIs and 11 runs, and junior shortstop
Tyler Depreta-Johnson is hitting .306 with three RBIs and eight runs.
HBU will likely start senior righthander
JT Jakubik, who will be making his first start of the season, and has made two appearances, going 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA, allowing two runs on five hits with three strikeouts and a walk in 3.0 innings.
SFA (7-10) is led by Zac Michener, who is hitting .328 with six doubles, two home runs, 13 RBIs and 13 runs, while Connor Fikes is hitting .303 with three doubles, eight RBIs and 11 runs.
The Huskies begin Southland Conference play on the road this weekend against Nicholls Friday through Sunday in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
