HOUSTON – HBU took care of business against visiting Ecclesia on Tuesday night, winning by a score of 116-80 in men's basketball action at Sharp Gym.
The Huskies got out to an early 10-2 lead following a

Ecclesia was able to keep things relatively close throughout much of the first half with a pair of David Gaut, Jr. free throws making it a nine-point game with 4:40 remaining in the half. HBU, however, closed out the stanza by outscoring the Royals 18-11 for a 56-40 halftime lead.
Senior
Colter Lasher took control at the start of the second half, scoring the first seven points for HBU and pushing the lead to 20-plus for the rest of the game. Midway through the half, HBU put together a 15-0 run capped by
Asa Cantwell and
Alex Fountain combining to knock down three straight three-pointers to put the game firmly out of reach with just 9:02 to go.
