HOUSTON – Due to the high threat of rain for the Houston area Wednesday, the doubleheader between HBU and Prairie View A&M, originally scheduled for 2 pm at Husky Field, has been postponed.

The games will be made up at a date and time yet to be announced.

HBU (4-10) will next play the second game of a home-and-home series with Texas Southern next Thursday, March 6 at 3 pm at Memorial Park. The Huskies defeated the Lady Tigers, 14-6 in five innings, on Feb. 18 at Husky Field. The Huskies then open Southland Conference play hosting reigning SLC Tournament champion, Northwestern State, for a three-game series, Saturday-Sunday, March 8-9.
