HOUSTON – Coming off two tough road losses last weekend, the HBU women's soccer team returns home to host Big 12 opponent, TCU, Sunday night, Sept. 1 at 7 pm at Sorrels Field.

HBU went 0-2-0 in its first regular season weekend, losing 2-1 at Tulsa on Aug. 23 and 1-0 at North Texas on Aug. 25. Rebekah Tovar scored the lone Husky goal against the Golden Hurricane.

The Huskies have used a trio of goalkeepers. Patty Walrath played the entire match against NT and tied a career high with six saves. She leads the keepers with a 1.00 GAA and a .857 save percentage. Stephanie Castellon and Shelby Horn each played 45 minutes against Tulsa, each making three saves and allowing a goal.

TCU (1-1-1) lost the opening match at the Montana Cup against Wyoming, 4-3, then defeated Air Force, 2-1. The Horned Frogs tied LSU in Baton Rouge 0-0 in double overtime on Aug. 30.

Michelle Prokof and Makenzie Koch each lead TCU with four points, as Prokof has a team-leading two goals.

Vittoria Arnold has a 1.80 GAA in net for the Horned Frogs.
