FRISCO, Texas – HCU junior goalkeeper Emmy McKeon earned the final Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Week award for the 2026 season for her performances over the last two games of the regular season.
McKeon and the Huskies wrapped up the regular season on a 14-match unbeaten streak and went 1-0-1 over the last two games to place second in the SLC standings. McKeon recorded four saves in a home 1-1 draw against regular season champion Lamar before making six stops this past Thursday on the road at UIW to earn the shutout win.
HCU will open the 2026 SLC Tournament on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 7:00 p.m. against No. 7 seed East Texas A&M on their home field in Commerce, Texas.
