HOUSTON - Houston Baptist doubled up visiting Prairie View A&M, 4-2, in game two to earn the split against the Lady Panthers Tuesday afternoon from Husky Field. Prairie View A&M took game one, 5-4.
In game one, there was no score until the top of the second, scoring three runs and chasing Husky starter
Sarah Shotton from the circle. Following a lead-off single and a walk, PVAMU got an RBI double from Druscilla Marmolejo, scoring two. The Lady Panthers' third run came two batters later, when she scored on a fielding error.

PVAMU tied the game with a solo run in the top of the sixth. Jasmine Little's two-out homer to left field actually bounced off Rademacher's glove and over the fence, as Rademacher narrowly missed stealing a run from the Lady Panthers.

Michaela Granchelli. PVAMU scored twice in the top of the second to take a 2-1 lead.
The Huskies tied the game at two in the bottom of the third. Following two-straight singles,

The score remained that way until the bottom of the fifth, when
Callie Herrington led off the inning with a single. Two batters later, Rodarte singled, advancing Herrington to second. Maddock singled up the middle, scoring Herrington. Following a pitching change, M. Granchelli was hit by the pitch, loading the bases with just one out.
Melissa Herman hit a sac fly to left, scoring Rodarte.
Like the Huskies in game one, PVAMU had a chance to do some damage in the bottom of the seventh, as the Lady Panthers had runners at the corners with two outs, but the Huskies got a flyout to end the game.
