Huskies Play Fourth Straight on the Road

HBU basketball faces UT-Arlington Wednesday night in Arlington.

ARLINGTON, Texas - Houston Baptist will play its fourth straight road game as it faces Texas-Arlington Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Texas Hall.

Senior guard Andrew Gonzalez leads the Huskies (1-11) and the Great West Conference with 20.9 points per game. Senior guard Michael Moss is averaging 9.0 points per game, but has scored 18 and 17, respectively, the last two game. Junior forward Terry Bembry leads the team with 6.7 rebounds per game.

LaMarcus Reed is the leading scorer for the Mavericks (5-7) with 13.9 points per game and also averages 4.8 rebounds per game. Bo Ingram averages 9.5 and Darius Richardson averages 9.2 points per game, while Brandon Edwards is the team's leading rebounder with 6.3 per game.

The two teams have already face one another this season, with UT-Arlington claiming a 74-65 decision over HBU on Nov. 20 in Houston. Gonzalez scored 27 for the Huskies, while Ingram and Reed had 19 apiece for the Mavericks.

The Huskies return to action when they host Duquesne Saturday at 7:35 p.m. at Sharp Gym.
