Junior middle blocker Allison Doerpinghaus set a new four-set match school record for HBU Thursday evening against McNeese State with a total of 14 blocks, which was just one shy of the overall school record. She recorded 21 blocks in just two matches for the week. For her efforts, she was named SLC Defensive Player of the Week. She is currently ranked third in the Southland Conference with a total of 99 blocks, leaving her with 1.25 blocks per set.
