Freshman outfielder Kirsten Schwirtlich hit .500 (7-for-14), as the Huskies went 2-3 in their final week of the season. She had six runs scored, one home run, and three RBI, while recording a .714 slugging percentage. She earned Second Team All-Conference honors and was also named Freshman of the Year. She leads the Southland Conference with a .699 slugging percentage and leads the nation with 1.12 RBI per game.
