Southland Conference All-Tournament Team - Most Valuable Player (2025) 

2025 (Grad):
Named Southland Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player after leading HCU to its second-ever Southland title with a clean sweep of the Edinburg bracket and the following SLC Championship Series played at Husky Field … went 2-0 with a 1.44 ERA in two starts during the Southland postseason, going 13 total innings allowing just seven hits and two runs ... bested Lamar in the opener of the Edinburg bracket, going six innings and scattering five hits and two runs to lead HCU to 6-3 victory (5/15) … went seven shutout innings and allowed just two hits against New Orleans in the championship series opening 8-3 victory at Husky Field (5/22) … went 3-6 with three RBI in the championship series clincher over New Orleans (5/23) … led Huskies at the plate in homers and RBI and on the mound in games started, ERA, innings and strikeouts … ranked first in the Southland in starts with 17 which was second most in the nation while ranking third in the league in innings pitched (86.1), fourth in punch-outs (71) and 10th in ERA (3.83) … registered 15 multi-hit games as DH, including three-hit games against Incarnate Word, Northwestern State and UNO … went 3-3 and matched single-game best with two homers while also accounting for four RBI and three runs scored in conference opener against UIW (2/28) … mashed first career grand slam in series finale of UIW series (3/2) … named SLC Hitter of the Week after the UIW series ... named SLC Hitter of the Week for second straight week after batting .417 with two homers in helping HCU to take two of three from McNeese ... picked up first victory of the season on the bump with six strong innings allowing just two unearned runs in the opener of the series at UTRGV (3/21) … drove in career-high five runs at New Orleans (4/19) and had three other games with four … ended his final campaign with the Huskies batting .291 with nine homers and 47 RBI while going 3-5 on the hill with a 3.83 ERA and finishes his time on Beechnut Street tied for second in career HR (28) and just outside the Top 15 all-time charts for at-bats and RBI … earned Southland Academic All-Conference honors ... earned Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll accolades for the fourth straight season ... 

2024 (Senior): Made the move to the mound from behind the plate … 13 appearances on the hill with 10 starts … struck out 34 in 50.2 innings pitched and finished 5-5 to lead the team in victories …  won three consecutive conference starts from March 29 to April 13, capping off the stretch with seven innings of four-hit ball against TAMUCC (4/13) … final start of the season saw him take a perfect game into eighth inning against UIW (5/16) before giving up a one-out double; would get out of the inning with no harm done to finish off a season-high eight scoreless innings with a personal best five strikeouts for the win … was third on the team with six homers while driving in 14 … four of his six homers came in Southland action … matched his career-highs of two homers, three hits and three RBI in an 8-3 win over Stephen F. Austin (4/23) … named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the third straight year …

2023 (Junior): Started 22 times in 36 appearances … tied for third on the team with five homers and was sixth in RBI with 20 driven in … matched career-best with three hits in a game vs. Northwestern State (4/14) … drove in the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly against North Dakota State (3/19) … tied career-high with three RBI twice, versus Seton Hall (2/25) and at Texas State (3/22)  … named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the second straight year …

2022 (Sophomore): Started 36 of the 38 games he played in … batted .268 and led HCU with career-best eight homers and tied for team-lead with 11 doubles … was second on the club with 27 RBI on the season … had 11 multi-hit games, including career-best three at Michigan State (3/20) … his solo homer in the top of the ninth at McNeese sent the game to extra innings where he launched his second homer of the day in the top of the 13th inning which propelled the Huskies to a 6-4 win over the Cowboys (3/25) … matched career-best by hitting two more dingers at Southeastern (5/7) … posted career-highs with two doubles (5/1) and three RBI (4/30) in the series against UIW … hit three-run homer to provide all the offense in a 3-2 victory over #20 Sacramento State (3/5) … named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

PRIOR TO HCU: University of St. Thomas (2021) Played his rookie campaign across town for the Celts … batted .357 with five homers and 29 RBI … named second team All-Conference … hit two home runs in his first collegiate start against Howard Payne … named to the Dean’s List …
