XC: Ariadna Navarro Wins SLC Women's Performer of The Week

Navarro earned the honor after the Rice Invitational

FRISCO, TX – Freshman Ariadna Navarro was named Southland Conference Women's Performer of the Week after her performance at the Rice Invitational on Friday, Sep 11. Navarro won the women's 4k race with a time of 14:14.1, which won the race by 27 seconds. This marks Navarro's second straight top-ten finish this season, which she looks to continue to build on.

Navarro and the HCU cross country squad will compete next at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Saturday, Oct. 3.
