FRISCO, Texas – HCU had three members of the 2025-26 men's golf team recognized with Southland Conference all-conference honors on Wednesday morning, the most in program history since joining the SLC and tying for the most among any school this year with
Brooks Pawlak earning first team recognition while
Mason Napier and
Brendon Willey were named second team.
Pawlak, a junior, picks up the first all-conference nod of his career as a first team selection. The Kingwood, Texas native is ranked 740 nationally after averaging 72.6 per round during the season. A consistent performer throughout the season for the Huskies, Pawlak wrapped up the year by finishing fifth at the 2026 SLC Championships, finishing even through 54 holes. He ended the year with a 546-188-30 win/loss record.
Napier, meanwhile, finished the SLC Championships one-under par for a third-place finish as the Huskies placed third as a team. The senior closed out the year with a scoring average of 74.2 and finished in the top-3 of tournaments on two occasions. He also came in third at the LaTour Intercollegiate, firing a -11.
Willey, also a senior, is ranked 823 and recorded a 10
th-place finish at the SLC Championships. He carried a scoring average of 73.9 for the season and a win/loss record of 323-291-17. In March, he finished second at the Collin Montgomerie-HCU Invitational with a -12. Just two weeks prior, Willey placed fourth at the Border Olympics, shooting -3.
