Both the HCU Volleyball and Beach Volleyball programs were named recipients of the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT. The award goes to collegiate and high school programs that maintain a grade-point average of 3.3 or higher during the most recently completed academic year.
This year marks the 10th time in school history for volleyball to receive the honor and eighth time in the last 10 years. HCU won the award four straight years from 2019-22.
On the Beach side, the Huskies earned the team academic accolade for the seventh year in a row and eighth time overall.
Cameron Sitler's squad also ranked in the top 20% of team GPA overall in NCAA DIvision I, which earned them Team Academic Honor Roll honors as well. They were one of just 11 Division I programs to earn such distinction.
